In the wake of Iran’s post-psuedo-election protests, President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has shown his hand.
The state controlled TV networks only air a handful of Hollywood movies a month, but, it seems this month is a special month for some strange reason… Could it be something to do with a certain tyrannical regime’s willingness to quell the seemingly inevitable uprising of it’s citizens?
In an unusual maneuver to quell the unrest in Iran, President Ahmadinejad has allowed the back to back airing of all Three Lord Of The Rings movies in a last ditch attempt to get Persians to stay at home. Wow! He must be desperate, I mean what kind of a person does he think watches all three LOTR movies back to back? Certainly not the type of person who who fronts The Basij. No matter how much I wish I was Mr Mortensen my manhood would crawl up inside itself at the face of those guys in a protest.
